Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Womro Solutions Private Limited(“Womro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles your personal data when you use our website, contact us, or message us and our brands over WhatsApp.
1.Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we process when you interact with Womro Solutions Private Limitedthrough our website, email, contact forms, and messaging channels — in particular the WhatsApp Business Platform operated via Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. It applies to customers, prospective customers, home cooks, and other individuals who communicate with us or our brands.
2.Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to you and provide our services:
- Contact details — your name, mobile/WhatsApp number, and email address.
- Message content — the text, images, documents, voice notes, location, or other media you send to us, and our replies to you.
- Order & service information — details you share to place, manage, or get support for an order or service request.
- Technical & delivery metadata — message timestamps, delivery and read status, and limited diagnostic data needed to operate the messaging service reliably.
- Website information — information you submit through our contact form (name, email, message). Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive financial credentials (such as full card numbers, UPI PINs, or passwords) over WhatsApp or our website.
3.Communication over WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp Cloud API), provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and WhatsApp LLC, to communicate with customers. When you message us on WhatsApp, or when we message you after you have provided your number and opted in:
- Your WhatsApp messages with us are processed to deliver customer support, order updates, service notifications, and responses to your enquiries.
- WhatsApp / Meta act as our messaging service provider and process message data on our behalf, subject to their own terms and privacy policy. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.
- We send transactional and support messages (for example, order confirmations and replies to your queries). We send promotional or marketing messages only where you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
We will never sell your WhatsApp number or message content. WhatsApp data is used only to communicate with you and provide the services you requested.
4.How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To process, confirm, and provide updates about orders and service requests.
- To send transactional notifications and, where you have opted in, relevant service or promotional messages.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our services and messaging channels.
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
5.Consent and opt-in
We message you on WhatsApp only after you have provided your mobile number and given consent — for example, by messaging us first, requesting support, or opting in through a form or checkout. By initiating contact or opting in, you consent to receiving WhatsApp messages from us in connection with your request.
6.How to opt out
You can stop receiving non-essential WhatsApp messages from us at any time by replying “STOP” in the WhatsApp chat, or by emailing info@womro.in. You may also block or report the chat directly within WhatsApp. We will honour opt-out requests promptly. We may still send essential transactional messages where required to complete a service you requested.
8.Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to provide support and maintain records of our interactions, and to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
9.Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. WhatsApp messages are protected in transit by WhatsApp's encryption. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.International data transfers
Some of our service providers, including Meta / WhatsApp, may process data on servers located outside India. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with applicable law and protected to a comparable standard.
11.Your rights
